The venue itself is beautiful but David and Ellen (the owners) are what really make this place AMAZING! They were super responsive with all of our questions and gave us much more support than I could have hoped for. They are both super personable and it’s apparent that they care about making your event special.
The venue is hidden away on the outskirts of Wimberley which we loved because it gives you a much more isolated environment for your special day.
We viewed a lot of venues when deciding where we wanted to get married. Sure, there are some similar venues around the same price but we just knew that we wouldn’t have nearly the same support as we would get from David and Ellen. Prima Vista is locally owned and operated so we don’t have to deal with a big company who is difficult to get a hold of when we have questions.
We can’t recommend Prima Vista enough!

From start to finish David and Ellen have been amazing and extremely helpful! The second we saw the venue and met them we knew this is the place to say I DO! The venue was beautiful, clean, and unique. Along the way David and Ellen were so responsive to any questions I had. We chose to add the catering package and it was SO worth it! Come to day-of, Ellen coordinated the day and everything went so smooth. It was honestly the best day I could have ever asked for and I have Prima Vista to thank for making my dreams come true. It’s a day we will never forget! I can’t thank you both enough!

We had our wedding at Prima Vista March 26, 2021. The original date was February 18, but the snow storm happened and we moved the date to March. It was a nightmare, but Ellen and David were so sweet and understanding, and they made the date change with no hassle! We received so many compliments from our guests! The patio is amazing in the evening!

I can't say enough good things about this venue. It's stunning, and the couple who own it, Ellen and David, are the sweetest people ever. Tables, chairs, and string lights are also provided at no extra charge.
We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Everything ran smoothly, and after months of intense planning, I was able to fully relax and enjoy my wedding day 🙂 It was perfect. We had so much fun! All our guests are still going on about how it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they've ever been to. And the best part? It didn't break the bank!
If you're looking for an affordable venue that has a lot included in the rental price and isn't just another barn, a venue your guests will rave about, and a venue run by amazing and extremely competent people who know what they're doing and care about giving you the best experience possible, you can't go wrong with Prima Vista!

Prima Vista is a gorgeous venue that beautifully blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. From the ceremony grounds to the happy hour pavilion, to the reception ballroom and deck, each space has been thoughtfully curated to enhance the natural beauty while providing state-of-the-art amenities. The atmosphere alone is enough to merit recommendation, but the real joy comes from working with venue owners, Ellen and David. They act as generous hosts, rather than mere renters of space, and pour extreme care into every last detail. I utilized their all-inclusive package option and could not have been more pleased. They are supportive without being overwhelming, and make sure your day goes off without a hitch. Cannot recommend this lovely venue enough!

We couldn’t have found a more perfect place to get married! We found Prima Vista while it was still under construction and even toured it before it officially opened. We could absolutely see the vision and we were even more excited about Prima Vista because Ellen and David are a dream team. They made our experience so amazing. I 100% recommended this venue for any event, but especially a wedding. It’s so charming and perfect for an intimate and romantic wedding day.

Our Dream Wedding
Our wedding was a dream come true from beginning to end. We instantly fell in love with the venue as soon as we parked our car. It has the beautiful hill country scenery with a modern twist to the reception building.
Ellen and David are wonderful people to work with. They made everything so easy to plan our wedding - with us living hours away. Ellen always stayed in contact with me weekly and helped anyway she could with vendor recommendations and scheduling the day of the wedding.
Both David and Ellen were so helpful and hands on to make sure everything was perfect for our special day! I could not ask for a more beautiful, relaxing and fun wedding.

Prima Vista was a beautiful venue. Seriously, absolutely beautiful. We actually just got our photos and the sunset there is simply breathtaking. They were willing to work with us and the budget that we were trying to set for the wedding. They were super hospitable and easy to communicate with. The venue itself was so well put-together that we didn't really need to focus on decorations (I am a lower maintenance bride according to my married bridesmaids). The venue also had its own generator in case of emergency. We held the ceremony in the open outdoor area, but there was another area outdoors under an awning we could've used in case of inclement weather. The bride and groom suites were just well decorated and equipped. The groom's suite even had a pool table! Ellen was extremely helpful for our wedding day. She was our go-to person for the day of and as a bride, it was awesome not having to worry about anything. Overall, my experience with Prima Vista was an amazing one. I would highly recommend this place.

Ellen and Dave were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The venue is absolutely beautiful! I told my husband when we first got engaged I did NOT want a traditional wedding venue with 4 walls. With having the patio and floor to ceiling windows it allowed so much natural light and I was completely happy. My guests were very impressed with the venue and the decor. We are completely satisfied and thankful for our experience with Prima Vista!
